Dr. Gholson was called into the Gospel Ministry in April 1981 and ordained in December 1988. He received his public education in the Newport News School system. He is a graduate of Richmond Virginia Seminary, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Theological Studies, Master Degree of Ministry and Preaching and a Honorary Doctorate Degree in 2008. The spirit-filled Dr. Gholson has been the pastor of Grafton Baptist Church in Yorktown, Virginia since 1990. His motto is “God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.”
He is married to Dr. Jacqueline Tucker-Gholson, and they have three sons and one grandson.
